"Hard to know where to start because this was such an awesome place to stay. Guiones is well off the beaten track but well worth the ride to be in a place like Casa Kaiman. We have stayed at a LOT of different homes in our travels, this one stands out as one of the best. The hostess Mijia and her husband were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The house is brand new and everything is top tier. Plenty of room to congregate as a family and have fun around the large kitchen table or on the beautiful pool deck outside. Two different TV rooms in the event that you need them (we did not). Bedrooms/bathrooms were spacious to say the least. The location of the house was incredible. Less than 5 min walk to the beach. You can literally walk out the front gate, walk across the street to rent a surfboard at the shop directly across from the house and then walk a couple of blocks to be on the beach. The house has beach chairs, bikes, umbrella, etc. You are walking distance to a little store a few blocks away, main grocery store is about a 10 min drive from the house. There are several restaurants within walking distance, our kids really liked the restaurants that they tried but for the most part we chose to cook for ourselves while we were there. One of the highlights was grilling our fresh caught Mahi on the outdoor kitchen/grill. (Fishing excursion out of Playa Garza that we set up at Fishing Nosara - the office is a 5 minute walk down the street from Casa Kaiman.) Mijia also recommended an ATV excursion with Pipin Rentals, a super fun activity to break up your time and keep you from burning from too much time in the surf. The only downside of this trip was that we had to leave. Our family will be talking about this house and this trip for a long time." Jaime M, December 2022
